What FOLKS
are saying

Exceptional creativity, talent, and dedication
"Mike has consistently shown exceptional creativity, talent, and dedication which is why he was was recently hired to co-write a freelance episode of Lopez vs. Lopez. His Tejano cultural background and lived experiences have greatly contributed to his unique storytelling style which is relatable, complex, and hilarious. He has a gift for finding humor in everyday situations and for weaving important social commentary into stories that impact our community and culture."
Debby Wolfe
Creator, Showrunner, & Executive Producer, Lopez vs. Lopez
Working with Mike is one of the best investments I could've made.
I've been lucky enough to work with Mike on multiple projects, and his creativity, voice, and vision are unmatched. Most recently, he designed a website, logo, and brand kit for my small business. I was so impressed with his ability to dive into a niche industry and create something MAGICAL. As small business owners, our business is our baby - Mike is humble enough to really listen to our needs, our wants, and what our vision for our business is, and then pair that information with his own creativity and drive to create something better than I ever could have imagined. In the times since working with Mike, I've had countless clients compliment my website, and even go so far as to say they're interested in me over my competitors because of how professional my website looks. Working with Mike is one of the best investments I could've made.

Mike is the "MacGuyver" of UX/UI
“Easily one of the strongest strategic/process/universe-builders I've ever worked with. Mike is the "MacGuyver" of UX/UI - give him a hunch, a partial idea, and a rough timeline, and he'll build (with you) an amazing program that is malleable, scalable, and empathetic to the needs of all involved. I am genuinely blessed to know, have worked with and learned (still learning) from Mike.

I would definitely use him again
We connected with Mike on doing a rebrand and website for RiskScout. As an entrepreneur it is tough to not be biased or too close to the process and many times too busy to really think about it. Couple that with the fact that most design resources are larger firms that want large retainers before work is ever produced. Mike is a breath of fresh air with his creative approach, excellent design/messaging skills and flexibility project arrangements. I would definitely use him again.

Looking for a Well-Rounded Creative?

From a South Texas Goat Ranch to Hollywood Writers' Rooms

Growing up on my great-grandparents' South Texas goat ranch, I've come a long way to make a name for myself in Hollywood. Drawing on lessons learned and Tejano roots, I aim to create meaningful conversations that impact change. But I'll settle for making some damn good TV.

Starting as a temporary writer's PA, I've climbed the ranks and had the opportunity to not only co-star but co-write my first episode of TV on NBCUniversal's "Lopez vs. Lopez," earning multiple union memberships along the way. I'm very proud of my episode that sparked conversations, even within my own family, about mental health and manipulation tactics of Latiné parenting.

The opportunity to also breathe life into my own characters has been a dream come true, no doubt about it. My crime comedy pilot "Welcome to Thystle" ranks in the Top 1% on Coverfly's Red List out of over 120,000 scripts. And, my multi-cam comedy "Son of a Butch" received a stellar recommendation from The Script Lab.

I also had the opportunity to help produce the HBO-acquired short film, "Pepito," and as well as create the award-winning live male strip show and adapted short film "Hard-ish Bodies," which premiered at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival.

At the end of the day, I'm just grateful for the opportunity to create and the folks along the way that help make it happen. There's no telling what the future holds. So, buckle up and join me I continue to chase my dreams and make my mark in the entertainment industry. Here's to taking risks, embracing challenges that come with turning nothing into something, and creating unforgettable stories.

Now, let's make some damn good TV.
